Toward the Nurturing of New Researchers in Language Education

The educational objective of our COE Program is to nurture a new type of language education researcher with expertise in the fields of linguistics, language education and computer science as well as a command of advanced linguistic proficiency who is capable of contributing to the multilingualization and advancement of foreign language education in Japan. This is expected to aid in removing the barrier that has traditionally stood between linguistic researchers and language educators as well as mark the advent of next-generation Linguistic Informatics researchers with complete perspectives.
