Well, you're right, but I would like to suggest you to take the core course next semester.
うーん、確かにそうですが、来学期では基礎科目を取ることを勧めます。
For one thing, it's a good idea to get it out of the way sooner rather than later.
理由の一つとして、後で取るよりも早いうちに終わらせておいた方がいいから。
But more importantly, it's a prerequisite for the other courses you need to take for your major.
でも何より、基礎科目はあなたの専攻で必要とされている他の科目の必要条件だからです。
If you don't take it next semester, you might have difficulty completing your degree on time.
来学期にそれを取らないと、予定通りに学位を取得することが難しくなるかもしれないですよ。
