Yup, just came out of the oven.

Well, the crust is very basic.
ええっと、生地はいたって普通よ。
But I used four different kinds of apples instead of just one.
でも、リンゴは1つだけじゃなくって、4種類違うものを使ったわ。

Really? Why?
本当？なんで？

Well, each kind has a different flavour and texture.
ええっと、それぞれ違う香りと食感があるの。
For example, Granny Smith is more crispy and tart, and Red Delicious is softer and sweeter.
例えば、グラニー・スミスはより歯応えがあって酸っぱいの。レッド・デリシャスはより柔らかくて甘いの。
The tart turns out more interesting when you mix them up.
違うのを混ぜた方が、パイはもっと味わい豊かになるのよ。
