Well, I was thinking it’d be lovely to go for a nice long hike around Lough Dan.
ええっと、ダン湖付近で楽しい長距離ハイキングに行こうかと思っているんだけど。

Oh, I don’t know.
うーん、どうかな。
It’s really beautiful there but if it’s gonna be hot, I’d much rather be by the sea.
そこはすごくキレイな場所だけど、その日、暑くなるなら、海辺で過ごしたいな。
Maybe we can even have a dip.
ひょっとしたらひと泳ぎできるかもしれないよ。
Yeah, but I fancy some exercise.
そうね。でも、私は運動をしたいわ。
I’m stuck at a desk most of the week and really need a good long stretch.
今週ほとんどデスクで仕事しているから、本当に体を動かさなきゃ。
I don’t feel like hanging around a beach all day.
一日中ビーチでぶらぶらしたくないわ。
Well, how about doing a bit of both?

We could do a long coastal walk from Bray to Greystones
ブレイからグレイストーンズへの長い海岸沿いを歩いて、
and even have a swim at both beaches.
その二つのビーチでひと泳ぎだってできるよ。
That sounds like a good idea.
