Yup, just came out of the oven.

It's so good! What did you put in it?

Well, the crust is very basic. But I used four different kinds of apples instead of just one.
えっと、パイ生地はほんとに基本的なものよ。でも、リンゴを1種類だけではなく4種類使ったの。

Really? Why?
本当？どうして？

Well, each kind has a different flavour and texture.
うーん、それぞれ風味と食感がちがうからよ。
For example, Spartan is softer and sweet, but McIntosh is crisper and more tart.
例えば、スパータンはやわらかくて甘いの。マキントッシュはよりシャキシャキで酸味があるの。
The pie turns out more interesting when you mix them up.
それらを混ぜるとパイはよりおもしろくなるのよ。
