What kind of store is that?
あれは何の店？
It's a futonya.
あれは布団屋。
They sell futon there.
布団を売ってるんだ。
Oh, futons.
ああ、フトンね。
That's right, futons.
そのとおり、フトンだよ。
And they sell other things, too, for example, sheets, blankets, pillows.
それからほかのものも売ってる。たとえば、シーツ、毛布、まくらとか。
And what about that store?
それじゃ、あの店は？
That's a kanamonoya.
あれは金物屋。
What do they sell there?
何を売っているの？
They sell lots of things, like buckets, knives, tools, and ladders.
いろんなもの、たとえばバケツ、ナイフ、工具、はしごとか。
Oh, so it's like a hardware store.
ああ、それじゃ「ハードウェアーストアーみたいなものね。」
Well, kind of.
まあ、そんなもんかな。
