My sister's teaching English over in Japan and she wants me to send her some typically Kiwi stuff.

何のために?- She wants to give other teachers birthday gifts - but wants to give them kiwiana things.

小さい子どものいる人には、すてきなプレゼントになるわ。 - Ah, Right!
ああ、そうだね！ - I even had one of those when I was a nipper.
小さいとき、僕も持ってたよ。 - And, if anyone has a sweet tooth, you can't go wrong with chocolate fish.
それに、甘いもの好きの人には、チョコレートフィッシュをあげれば間違いないわ。 - Right! That's a great example of a Kiwi sweet.

ずっと前からあるよね。 - Or how about a pair of jandals? Can't get more 'Kiwi summer' than that!
それか、ビーチサンダルはどう? これ以上の「ニュージーランドの夏」はないわ! - For sure!
確かに! - I can't imagine wearing anything else when summer hits.
夏が来たら、これ以外に履くものは思いつかないよ。 - There's heaps of other things, too, if you think about it.
