I'm thinking of taking Welsh classes in September.
9月にウェールズ語の授業を受けようと思うんだけど、- You ever learned Welsh?
君はウェールズ語を勉強したことがある？ 
What, you mean apart from in school?
学校以外で、ということ？- Yeah, only I didn't even learn Welsh in school like everyone else
うん、僕は他の人みたいに学校でウェールズ語を勉強したことがなくて。 - as our family moved to England when I was young.
うちの家族は僕が小さい頃イングランドに引っ越したから。 - Oh that's right, I forgot.
ああ、そうだったね。 - Well I did the basics at school, you know.
私は基礎を学校で学んだの。 - Learned some poems and songs for the eisteddfod, that kind of thing.

楽しそうだね。 - but I was thinking of doing something a bit more practical,
でも僕はもう少し実践的なものが学びたいな。 - so I can have some basic conversations when I go on holiday to north Wales this summer.
今年の夏にウェールズ北部まで休暇に行くんだけど、そこで基礎会話ができるようにしたい。 - Oh that's a good idea. Where to you going?

そこの人たちはウェールズ語を話すよね。 - A few years ago, I did a Welsh course at Clwb Ifor Bach, it was really good.
数年前に私はクラブ・イフォール・バッハでウェールズ語の授業を受けたけど、すごく良かった。 - Isn't that a live music venue?

そこはウェールズ語のランゲージセンターにもなっていて、 - and we used to finish our classes and then go and practice speaking Welsh in the bar afterwards.
授業が終わった後にみんなでバーに行ってウェールズ語の会話練習をよくしていたわ。 - Nice idea. Are the classes expensive?
いいね。授業料は高い？ - I can't remember exactly.
よく覚えていないけど、 - Not too dear and the teachers were really good.
あまり高くなかったわ。先生もすごくよくて。 - We used to have a good laugh actually.
楽しい時間を過ごしたよ。 - I think I'll give them a ring
