Yup, just came out of the oven.

It's so good! What did you put in it?
とてもおいしい！何を入れたの？

Well, the crust is very basic. But I used four kinds of apples instead of just one.
えっと、パイ生地はほんとに基本的なものだよ。でも、リンゴを1種類だけではなく4種類使ったんだ。

Really? Why?
本当？どうして？

Well, each kind has a different flavor and texture.
うーん、それぞれ味と食感がちがうからだよ。
For example, Granny Smith is more crispy and tart, and Red Delicious is softer and sweeter.
例えば、グラニースミスはよりシャキシャキで酸味があって、レッドデリシャスはよりやわらかくて甘い。
The pie turns out more interesting when you mix them up.
それらを混ぜるとパイはよりおもしろくなるんだ。
