Yeah, I got back yesterday afternoon.
昨日の午後戻ってきたんだけど、

For some reason, Glasgow office wasn't expecting us tilｌ Thursday.
どういうわけか、グラスゴーの事務所が木曜日まで僕らが来ると思っていなかったらしいんだ。
Oh no. How did that happen?
まさか。どうしてそうなったんだ？
I don't know.
わからない。
But we had to make our own way to the office in rush hour
でも、僕らはラッシュアワーの時間にオフィスまで辿りついて、
and then wait while the secretary got hold of Mary - who was out to lunch.
秘書の人がメアリーに連絡をとってくれる間待っていたんだ。まぁ、メアリーはランチに行っちゃっていたんだけれども。
Grief, what a performance.
うわ。なんてことだ。
Did you get the chance to meet with everyone, in the end?
最終的に、全員に会うチャンスはあったのか？
Yes, eventually.
ああ、最終的にはね。
They were very apologetic of course and took us all out to dinner.
勿論すごく申し訳なさそうにしていて、僕らをディナーに連れて行ってくれたんだ。
That's good. Some place nice?

No, just the local pub.
いや、地元のパブだったよ。
But the food was good.
でも、食べ物は良かった。
